Was on assignment for NIKE photographing 2 new stores that opened in Harlem last week. My assistant MJ Mikka created this short video to share the behind the scenes fun for a shoot that started at 6PM and ended at 8am this next day.

I recently was inspired by the renovation work of Diller Scofidio + Renfro for Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center, NYC.
The beautifully renovated building has been transformed from a heavy feeling structure to a light, airy and pedestrian friendly public space.

Absolutely a great concert at NYC's SummerStage. The master of word and music, Gil Scott Heron, gave a heart warming and energy filled concert to NYer's. His "Winter In America" is still a classic and as important as it was approximately 30 years ago when he first produced it.

I was was at Coney Island at the Mermaid Day Parade on Saturday June 19th. Great weather and lots of visuals. There were thousand of photographers and videographers capturing the day. Ran into my good friend Daniel Mirer, who teaches photography at FIT.

Union Square Studios

I recently helped a friend with their marketing for their studio space. The video wsa produced featuring both the location of Union Square, NYC and the studio interior. Many photographers are coming from outside NYC and it is important to give all this information. The video is not finished.. will be adding a narration track and a new soundtrack.
The video and stills were both shoot using two Canon Mark2 5D.
